Your analytics choice stays in your control

This policy covers stampsnap.app. The website can use Google Analytics 4 only after you choose to allow analytics, and you can change that decision at any time.

What this policy covers

This page describes information handled when you visit the StampSnap marketing and editorial website. The StampSnap mobile apps may process different information to provide identification and collection features; the disclosures shown with the app and in the relevant app store apply to that product use.

The website does not require an account, offer a contact form, or ask you to enter stamp collection data. You can email us voluntarily, in which case we receive the information you include in that message so we can respond.

Google Analytics 4

If you select Allow analytics, the website loads the Google Analytics tag. GA4 can measure page views, page paths, visit times, referring pages, broad location, device and browser characteristics, and basic interaction information. Google may process network and device identifiers needed to provide the service. We use these aggregate reports to understand which pages are useful and where the site needs improvement.

Advertising storage, advertising personalization, ad user data, Google signals, and personalized-ad signals are disabled in our site configuration. We do not load the Google Analytics tag when your choice is undecided or rejected. Analytics data is available only to authorized account users. The GA4 property is configured to retain event and user data for 14 months where that setting applies; Google may handle other service or security data under its own controls and policies.

Cookies, local storage, and consent

The site stores your accepted or rejected analytics choice in your browser's local storage so it does not ask on every page. If analytics is allowed, Google Analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers for measurement. Rejecting analytics prevents the tag from loading for a new visit; changing an earlier acceptance to rejection disables future analytics measurement on that device.

To withdraw or change consent, select the Analytics settings button shown at the bottom of the website and choose your new preference. You can also clear this site's cookies and local storage in your browser, which resets the choice and causes the consent prompt to appear again. Where consent is required, consent is the basis on which we use GA4.

External services and links

Google provides GA4 and handles data under its own terms and privacy controls. You can read Google’s Privacy Policy and its information about data from sites that use Google services.

Links to the Apple App Store, Google Play, philatelic references, and other websites take you to services we do not control. Their privacy practices apply after you leave stampsnap.app.

Your requests and policy changes

To ask about website analytics data, privacy rights available in your region, or deletion of information you sent by email, contact support@stampsnap.app. We may need enough information to understand and verify a request, and mandatory legal rights are not limited by this policy.

We may update this policy when the site or its providers change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version; material changes will be reflected on this page before or when they take effect.
